I yearn to transcend time and space of my own physical reality to explore new ones, hungering to live potential characters like: an abusive and embittered father coming to terms with losing his son, or the wealthiest man in the world who gets everything he wants, except his true love, or an isolated and hopeful drug addict who is given his last chance at redemption, only to lose it all and fall back into familiar habits. I seek to immerse myself in ground-breaking and fierce theatrical stage and screen experiences relevant to our increasingly volatile social, political, socio-economic, and religious world we live in today. Audiences’ personal beliefs must be challenged, honored and exalted so that, like a phoenix rising from its own ashes, our souls can be purified and made whole.
